YES, even after having this design around for a long time and many multiple people looking at the design, the typo in Pajarito was not found until after printing. ACK! I included an image here of my hand-lettering for this project. You can see that while in a flow, letters become shapes, become repetitions, become... typos. Funny related story: when I worked at the San Francisco Bay Guardian in the *paste up room,* editors and writers would bring us line item corrections and we'd ask: where does it go? They were completely perplexed that we had not read the story... nope, us graphic folks just looking at the overall picture and waxing film!

Don't let a little typo stop you from enjoying a nicely priced tee and sharing your ABQ pride!

Founding family settlements, Native villages and farm land celebrated in two tee colors. Only a fraction of the culturally rich communities that make up the diverse city of Albuquerque are represented here but a few of the oldest that are still thriving today. For example, Barelas was established in 1662— that’s 44 years before the city was officially founded in 1706. For more context, New Mexico was not admitted to the union as the 47th state until 1912!
